Women Architects Lucie Chytilová and Agata Vančó Kiszka show the past of the city, character of its buildings and the impact of ideology on today´s condition. The tour shows the overall situation of the Sorela buildings and then focuses on the atrial houses, the „cultural house“ KD Petra Bezruče, the one-time vocational school of Pavko Korčagin, the Radost (Joy) cinema, the Labužník (Gourmet) house etc. Green parts of the city deserve special attention (dendrology is a significant component of city planning). The stroll concludes with a hot topic discussion – the demolition of the railway station.
