ÚSTÍ NAD LABEM – DEMOLISHED AND NOT BUILT AGAIN

Ústí nad Labem has experienced many dramatic changes in the last 100 years. It was an imposing industrial city, then a city damaged by bombing, then a city demolished by the ambitious goals of socialist planners and finally a city of free building at the turn of the centuries. This will be a journey to see places and buildings, which have been pulled down and disappeared. We will compare it with the plans, with the dreams, with the concepts and with the visions of architects and architecture students. Organized by the platform Ústí:Aussig.net. All will finish with a picnic at the new gallery Buňka (about 6 pm).
